We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Fleet Compliance, who will be responsible to ensure that our fleet meets the highest internal and external expectations. This will include the definition and audit of roadworthiness standards, the execution of recalls as well as analysis of vehicles that were involved in accidents/incidents. Paying specific attention to our growing fleet of brand-new electric vehicles is a key part. Also, owning the setup of an external audit team will be required of this role.

By insisting on the highest standards and by raising the bar, the individual in this position will together with the Fleet Compliance Team, improve the uptime and the safety of our delivery fleet.

Key functions for the role include:
· Enforcing our fleet roadworthiness standards across EU
· Improving our standards
· Owning the Daily Fleet Audits EU wide
· Optimizing Audit and Maintenance processes
· Owning escalations and deep dives after incidents and near misses
· Centrally manage recalls across EU to meet internal and external SLAs
· Building effective relationships with AMZL senior leadership and Fleet Operations Management (FOM) within EU AMZL to effectively balance safety, capacity, availability and cost
· Work effectively with operations, DSP's and Fleet Supply Chain team to plan and execute peak capacity requirements
· Build collaborative relationships with Compliance Leaders in other geographies
· Operational escalation management; act as senior ops escalation point for EU VAS vendors

This role can be based in any of the corporate offices in London, Munich, Berlin, Luxembourg, Milan and Madrid.

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
· 10+ years in Automotive, Engineering, QM or Logistics Industry
· Proven team leadership experience in network-level operational or complex program management environments
· Proven experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams at the senior leadership level
· A history of developing strong, value-add partnerships
· Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
· Ability to handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements; expert at knowing when to delegate and when to 'do'
· Excellent communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail. (English is a requirement)
· Proven history of developing high performing teams - can demonstrate equal success in coaching and 'sleeves rolled up' delivery
· This leader can work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.


· Masters or other post-graduate degree
· Lean Six Sigma degree
· Quality Management Certification
· Fleet Management experience
· Second European language would be an advantage
