We are going through a period of expansion and this means we are introducing the new role of Team Leader within our Inspectors teams. We are now looking for a Team Leader of the Outfitting Inspector Team in Turku, Finland.


The ideal for candidate for this role be an experienced team leader or manager, who understands how to inspire and lead a team of engineers to through demanding projects timelines and milestones.

The Senior Manager’s role is to:

  • Manage the distribution, control and monitor all of the daily work activities related to the inspection team members and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem solving before delivery
  • Assist the Building Manager with resource planning, inspectors appraisals, goal settings and yearly budget requirements.
  • Be the initial point-of-contact with Builder, Operational Companies and technical office within the related discipline for inspection and commissioning remarks
  • Provide on-site supervision of all matters relating to pre-outfitting, including insulation, floor, wall and deck coverings, architectural decors of crew and passenger accommodation areas, glassing, furniture, artwork in passenger areas
  • Ensure that all aspects of these systems are inspected, verified and functionally tested to meet the requirements of the specification, defined design parameters and contractual requirements. 
  • Assist the Building Manager with resource planning, inspectors appraisals, goal settings and yearly budget requirements.

About You

  • You will be an experienced leader or manager, who can demonstrate experience in leading a team through a successful project delivery.
  • You will have previous experience in a leadership or management position, co-ordinating team’s workloads and monitoring the quality of your work produced by a team.
  • You will have experience in delivering inspections in structures and outfitting disciplines.  
  • A technical knowledge and a background of working in shipyards, ideally working on cruise ships, new build or refits.
