The EMEA Senior Manager, Security & Loss Prevention (S&LP) - Risk and Strategy supports and coordinates a variety of strategic efforts inclusive of playing a pivotal role in building annual/long-term strategic plans. This position is crucial to the EMEA S&LP team's ability to establish its short, medium, and long-term plans in a highly progressive risk and operational environment. The Strategy Manager is responsible for the development and oversight of the EMEA S&LP team's strategies and road maps in order to deliver the vision and mission. The role will improve the performance of the wider business by providing a innovative advantage based on a better understanding of industry (S&LP) specific threats and risks, a robust resilience framework that allows the business to continue to operate, and providing a low risk environment for people, inventory and assets that is supervised by a highly cost effective organization.
The Manager has an important role in forming S&LP strategy focused on business operations opportunities for the EMEA region fully embedded within the framework provided by the Global Security Operations team. The role will be collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating cross-functional teams in the development of business-wide S&LP strategies (human resources, finance, retail, transportation, customer service, corporate audit, security services-retail/CS/Corp, physical security systems and design, related software teams, and other areas).
This role will own the engagement with Retail business functions attending Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews to identify new business models, marketing initiatives, acquisitions and product launches, and will engage other EMEA S&LP team internal functions to provide guidance on the development of related programs.
This Strategy Manager's achievement will be measured by how they develop new strategy, set the direction for the S&LP team, and implement influence across the entire organization. The role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with in-depth security and risk knowledge, high-quality communication skills as well as an ability to influence and move forward programs.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategy Definition: The Manager is tasked with bringing together crucial pieces of information from various internal and external sources such as operational performance, innovations, markets, in order to develop risk based strategic options. The role is acting across all EMEA S&LP business functions providing guidance and support related to the evaluation and management of risk factors, which affect the overall ability of the team to continuously provide a competitive security model enabling the continuous growth of the organization.
Strategic Performance Management: The Manager is also responsible for the management and development of the S&LP team's Key Performance Indicator infrastructure in order to facilitate monitoring, analysis and reporting of performance against plans and budgets as well as strategic goals. The Strategy Manager coordinates the development of monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports for the business's leaders as well as facilitating cross-functional performance reviews for the leadership.
Strategy Coach: The Manager additionally plays the role of a strategy coach to all EMEA S&LP departmental leadership within the business, providing much needed support in the formulation of appropriate department strategies. The Strategy Manager owns the EMEA S&LP strategic plan and ensures that team activities are aligned with these strategies.
Strategy Champion: The Manager will focus on the progression of the S&LP strategic capabilities and ensure that the strategic discourse will essentially improve metrics and performance of the EMEA S&LP function. The Manager in partnership with the Worldwide Group Security Operation team will work to effectively and efficiently enhance and standardize EMEA S&LP services, programs, policies, procedures and systems so that they align with desired goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The ideal candidate will have signficant working experience in a strategy position within a growing and dynamic corporate/business environment, for example working in the security or risk sector. The candidate will have gained substantial exposure to corporate strategy management, with direct exposure to global management, strategy formulation and decision making.
• Must have strongend oral and written communication skills in English.
• Results oriented leader possessing strongend influencing skills and is comfortable working in a ever-growing and multi-tasking environment, with proven ability to develop and coordinate functional teams and budgets.
• Employee will need to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group.
• Professional skills utilizing Excel (pivot tables a plus), Word and Microsoft Project required.
• A suitable candidate will also demonstrate very good investigative skills, an ability to Dive Deep and translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives. They will have a proven ability to perform and present standard analyses such as performance analysis, competitive analysis and market analysis
• Bachelor's degree required and Master in Business or related field is preferred. Academic degree or practitioners' equivalent through experience and internationally accepted professional certification in S&LP management e.g. CPP/ASIS or similar.
• Thirty to fifty percent travel may be involved in periodic international travel to support other teams globally and to participate in global peer reviews.
• Prior experience in security services, risk management and asset protection is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts.
• Experience with warehouse, distribution center, transportation or supply-chain operations.
• Familiarity with databases (querying and analysing) such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Prior experience in internal audit, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related field
