Job Description

The Role:
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be working across 2 clients - a popular FMCG snack brand and a new Consumer Finance client!

You will be an integral part of the Planning team, taking on briefs, contributing to the planning of campaigns, working with the in house activation teams, presenting to clients and reporting on campaigns. You will also be looking at market and consumer research data to pull insights and trends to help inform and make recommendations.

The Team:
You will be joining an experience team of media planners, activation specialists and strategists. You will report directly into an Account Manager, who will also work across the same accounts - this Manager feeds into a team of Account Directors for each client, then into the same Business Director.

The Clients:
The main client you will be working on is KP Snacks, the FMCG Giant behind well loved brands including Tyrells, Hula Hoops, Space Raiders, McCoys and many more. Starcom won the account last year after a competitive pitch process, since then the team have worked relentlessly to go above and beyond what has been asked of them. We are taking KP Snacks on a digital journey, so there is a lot of client education happening to get involved in. There has also been a commerce project signed off, so there is a lot of exciting work going on!

The other client is a new challenger brand to the online banking world, they are new to the UK market and will be heavily investing in digital.

You will be reporting into an Account Manager and be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the account. From briefing at the beginning to strategic understanding and account handling through to activation, delivery and post campaign analysis. You will be working as part of a much wider team and have frequent client contact.

You will also be responsible for:
  • Supporting your manager in the day to day running of the account
  • building positive relationships with junior clients, understand and show interest in their business
  • Working with various teams within Publicis Media including Content, Sports, Data and Commerce practices
  • Support the manager in delivering financial accuracy and PO management
  • Reporting and timesheet diligence

You will have had some experience as an Account or Planning Exec/Assistant/Planner Buyer within a media agency client team. You will also have exposure to planning in a range of media channels (online and offline), whilst working closely with internal activation teams.

Ideally you would have worked on a larger account where campaign budgets allow for some innovation and creative thinking, as well as test&learns.

Some client contact would be preferable, otherwise you will have the confidence to manage client expectations and present RTB's/PCA's and other reports.
