We run three busy hospital sites at Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and provide outpatient services in two community hospitals in Ely and Doddington. Our 6,000 staff serve a growing population of 750,000 across North Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible individual to join a dedicated team in Cellular pathology at Peterborough City Hospital.

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 April 2017. The Trust runs three busy hospitals - Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital. Together they serve approximately 700,000 residents living in Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire and the neighbouring counties.

Peterborough offers a thriving city with a rich history and affordable living. There are excellent transport links with regular trains to London within an hour and, the proximity to the A1 (M) and A47 for easy commuting into-out of the city as well as easy access to Cambridge, the rest of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

The Cellular pathology service is based at Peterborough City Hospital and processes and reports histology and diagnostic cytology samples across all sites for North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team of administrative staff, scientists and Doctors in a modern laboratory at Peterborough City Hospital. The laboratory has UKAS accreditation.
