About the Role
Haringey Council are looking to recruit a Senior Operative for its newly formed Parks Services.
As a Parks frontline Senior Operative, you will provide a visible, roaming presence and act as the public's first point of contact for the Service. You will ensure that minimum inconvenience is caused to the public whilst working, and act in a professional manner at all times.
You will be required to work 5 over 7 days (must be available to work during the weekend)
You will undertake and supervise the collection of litter and hazardous waste to keep the parks safe, clean, and tidy, ensuring safe and appropriate disposal of all waste, including transporting it to authorised disposal plants as directed. This may include using vacuum appliances where appropriate in a safe and responsible way.
Having a clean UK driving license is essential for this role.
