We are actively recruiting to vacancies across the Trust. We would like to encourage applicants to apply via NHS Jobs and to inform candidates that interviews will be taking place remotely via video / Microsoft Teams.

We are extremely grateful to all new applicants and our current staff who have made enquiries and referrals to our bank and recruitment team. Thank you for supporting the NHS, your Trust and community during this challenging time.

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest integrated care providers in England, serving a population of around 800,000 people. We are a high performing organisation with a track record of success.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Payments Clerk.

The successful applicant will supervise a small team of payable clerks and apprentices, ensuring the daily tasks are managed in line with procedures, so that suppliers are paid in a timely manner and issues with non-payment of invoices are resolved promptly.

If you love to problem solve, can provide inspiration to your team, and can prioritise work in the face of changing priorities, then you could be just who we need.

If you have any questions please contact Fiona Johnson on 0191 5692823
