Therole is for an industry recognised Primavera P6 plannerwith experience of contract and change analysis, providing compliant impact assessments, in accordance with thecontract terms and conditions

The role willinvolve working with the Contractor's change team and liaising with therelevant area teams to assess change and develop NEC Clause 60 programmes and supportivenarratives.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Contractor's Head of Planning (HOP) and the Head of Change(HOC) and working closely with the senior planning and commercial managers. Therole will be to provide the requisite analysis of delay and disruption eventsacross all areas of the Project, in conjunction with the area site teams to substantiate additionaltime and the effect of compensation events.

Key outputs:
  • Preparation of programmes and discrete technical narratives tosupport the Clause 60 submissions in conjunction with the area site teams
  • Presenting to the HOP / HOC and PM to ensure 'fair' entitlement isrecovered on behalf of the Contractor via the Project Manager
  • Ensuring that the programme impacts are understood and can be fullyevaluated particularly in relation to time related costs
  • Working alongside the client programme representatives to ensureagreed impact and entitlement prior to final submission
  • Ensuring that submissions are robust to support entitlement toavoid conflict/disputes

    From time to time this role will also be to assist with thepreparation and evaluation of options and mitigations to the main programme tosecure instruction to implement.

Ihre Qualifikationen

Suitableapplicants will have the following:
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • In depth practical experience of Primavera P6 software and other planning software
  • Experience in change management, claims preparation and forensic planning
  • Experience in the various forms of delay and schedule analysis and report writing
  • Up to date knowledge and demonstrates keen interest in the latest theory and practice of forensic analysis, e.g. case law, legal commentaries, SCL and AACE publications, etc.
  • Strong IT skills using Primavera, MS Project, Asta and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Flexibility and demonstrable creative problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required and ability to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential
  • In depth knowledge of the NEC and ICE forms of contract
  • Knowledge of dispute resolution methods, in particularadjudication
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Experience ofworking on complex infrastructure projects
  • Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to maintain good relationships throughout
Enthusiastic, proactive and able to work on their own and as partof a team and communicate effectively with numerous stakeholders.
Ableto work on a number of concurrent subjects to tight timescales and have a pragmaticapproach to the resolution of a number of complex challenges.
