We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical and creative Senior Program Manager to help us make Amazon a place that customers love to shop.

As a Sr. PM of Operational Performance, you will serve as the nerve center between our field and corporate teams. Your exceptional organization and project management skills will allow you to deliver on a broad and detailed roadmap of projects, programs, and initiatives across Organizational Change Management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and field team support. Your deep analytic skills, strong business judgement, and relentless focus on our core operational inputs will make you critical as you prioritize initiatives, identify gaps in process and performance, and remove barriers to execute. Your strong customer obsession helps keep our field teams and our end customer at the forefront of all the decisions we make.

Responsibilities include:

· Developing and refining a framework for the management, reporting, and analysis of our strategic operational priorities and goals and our progress against them
· Leading continuous improvement programs by diving deep on all aspects of operational performance
· Driving benchmarking analysis for our practices both internally and externally against best-in-class operations
· Innovating on behalf of our field teams to ensure that the programs we drive maximize their investment in time, mindshare, and resources while empowering them with the tools, time and focus to constantly exceed the expectations of end customers
· Conducting program post-mortems, capturing lessons learned, iterating and continuously improving program management practices and approaches for productivity and future planning

A successful candidate will also demonstrate:
· High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
· Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
· Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
· Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality


· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· 5+ years in retail/program management with a focus on operations
· Fluent in both English and German
· Demonstrated data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills
· Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements
· Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
· Must have advanced skills in Excel


· MBA or Master's Degree in a related field
· Background leading strategic planning and execution across a blended field and corporate organization
· 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs and teams, including external and internal stakeholders
· Experience developing and executing a change management program across cross functional teams
· Experience in defining metrics for larger, more complex projects and productivity
· Experience working with cross-functional teams
· Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
