Are you excited about partnering with retail leaders to drive high-visibility, strategic, revenue-generating, projects as-well-as applying Lean methodologies to lead operational process improvements in a fast paced environment? Are you equally comfortable working with large data set in order to derive valuable insights and lead prioritization discussions with international design and development teams to meet daily business requirements? If so, the Central Delivery Team is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a proven delivery record to own and execute strategic, cross-functional projects.

This role requires working with business teams across the company to: quantify opportunities; define requirements and high level process/system solutions; lead cross-functional development teams and manage timelines for all software and field operations teams who support New Product Introduction (NPI) project launches. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. It also requires strong bias for action and willingness to be hands-on.

To be successful in this position, we seek an innovative and analytical operations leader/program manager who has the knowledge and experience in last mile or warehouse operations. A key to influencing key shareholders is to: have the ability to solve complex, technical problems with simple & practical solutions; and to extract, analyse and communicate data supporting your recommendations. The Senior Program Manager will be comfortable designing reports, extracting and manipulating data from multiple data sources, and deriving valuable insight from statistical analysis. Experience in defining project management, collecting requirements, designing processes and software solutions around: detailed functional specifications; coordinating efforts to scope, scheduling, cost/benefit analysis and new software deployment is paramount. Most importantly, you have the ability to effectively communicate your project management results to various departments within the organization.


The ideal candidate requires strong program management experience in the customer-fulfillment and/or a fast-paced logistics/distribution environment as you will be:
· Building delivery strategy/infrastructure, process precedents, and a team for regional ultra-fast delivery operations.
· Partnering with international technology teams to communicate and prioritize region specific feature / bug fixes request based data backed analysis on cost or defect impacts.
· Planning, organizing, managing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
· Deep diving in weekly performance metrics in order to innovate for step-change improvement in delivery safety, quality, and cost metrics.
· Partnering with local team in order to adapt regionalized delivery model to specific market demand and operational constraints.
· Partnering with Senior Managers, Directors and other key operational experts across the company to lead, support, and influence new business initiatives.
· Benchmarking Amazon's internal ultra-fast delivery practices against best-in-class operations.
· Driving global standardization of delivery practices, businesses processes, and reporting with fulfillment center, retail, finance, marketing, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders.


· Master's degree (or equivalent) in an analytical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Finance)
· Proven experience in direct-to-customer fulfillment or warehousing
· Previous experience in cost/benefit analysis of project proposals
· Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
· Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize is required
· Extensive experience as a program/project manager
· Strong oral and written communication skills in English are crucial
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
· An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
· Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results
· Experience in or certification in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (descriptive analysis, control charts, regression, design of experiments, etc)
· Intermediate proficiency in Excel (VBA, Macros, SQL connections)
· Intermediate proficiency in SQL (Working with large, complex data source; redshift preferred)


· Advanced SQL and Excel
· Proficiency in automated reports/dashboards (ETL, Tableau, etc)
· Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight)
· Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince)
· Demonstrated knowledge of last mile transportation industry
