Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager to join the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Fleet team and drive innovation within our fast growing transportation network. As part of the Programs team, you will develop the foundational infrastructure needed to manage various transportation assets such trailers, alternate fuel vehicles etc. across EU. This will be a key contributor supporting Amazon's Climate Pledge as we storm towards our initial target of making 50% of all our shipments net zero by 2030. You will work on defining the end-to-end strategy to manage Amazon owned transportation fleet, scale new programs quickly and with high quality, and deliver features/services to drive continuous value to customers while satisfying performance and budgetary goals.. The position is based in London.

Key responsibilities:
· Build expertise in the understanding of alternate fuel vehicles (EV, CNG tractors)
· Define, prioritize and plan the resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time.
· Set up service network for maintenance & repairs to ensure minimum asset downtime and optimal costs, including running RFP processes, evaluation and on-boarding of vendors
· Work with internal tech. teams to align, prioritize and deploy enabling features for fleet management including real time asset tracking, repair and maintenance service, SLA reporting and tracking
· Develop comprehensive view on workflows needed to operationalize new asset types and work with internal operations stakeholders for alignment, training and deployment
· Initiate, coordinate and oversee program rollout; report on progress and raise need for support/attention to EU leadership
· Continuously evaluate fleet operational metrics and develop roadmap for process improvement opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Consultant or Analyst
· Hands-on experience in delivering large-scale projects in complex environments with urgent deadlines; proven track record in structuring, planning and delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
· Strong oral and written communication skills, and proven ability to influence others and manage diverse stakeholder groups
· Strong analytical thinking, quantitative analysis and problem solving skills; sound business judgment and experience in building business cases and prioritizing solutions on this basis
· A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required.
· Advanced Excel skills required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in the automotive industry, ideally with experience in alternate fuel vehicles (bEV, CNG)
· Academic focus on Operations Management, Engineering and/or MBA
· Experience in collaborating with external partners and commercial negotiations
· Proficiency in SQL
