The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for identifying, designing, developing, and executing new processes, policies, goals, and long-term solutions that increase scalability, streamline operations, reduce errors, decrease costs, and improve the company's overall air transportation program.

This position will require strong communication with external vendors, managers, peers, and team members, both within the team, as well as with other departments and business partners to drive effective solutions to complex challenges. The candidate will need to quickly identify key success metrics to best understand performance and work cross-functionally to implement solutions that effectively exceed targets.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Serving as the single-threaded leader for Air Cargo in Europe
· Driving business development opportunities and pilot programs with internal and external facing partners
· Manage and coordinate multiple project assignments that continuously improve customers' experience and develop best in class air cargo capabilities
· Measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring goals are met
· Identify and communicate roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to project schedules
· Representing the company with partners, and work across all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, implementation, and execution of objectives.

· Ability to use analytical tools to dive deep and never be out of touch with the details of the business
· Highly proficient in written and oral communications and be able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations for both the frontline operation at airports and company leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Demonstrated leadership in aviation operations context
· Experience within the airfreight industry, including but not limited to: airport/ground handling, customs processes and procedures, intermodal and trucking line haul carrier management.
· Familiarity with commercial aviation industry regulations, standards, and guidelines
· 7+ years of progressive program management or relevant work experience
· Must demonstrate the ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence and manage upward as necessary
· Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel. Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's degree or foreign equivalency in Business Administration, Engineering, or operations management
· Analytic experience in the areas of transportation or network management
· Developing or managing complex logistical processes for cargo operations, air freight, freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics
