In 2021 Birmingham is set to introduce a Clean Air Zone (CAZ) to reduce harmful emissions, improve air quality in the city and the health of our children and young people. This is not a 'congestion charge' and does not apply to the vast majority of vehicles entering the city centre. Exceptions for NHS staff who earn under £30k and work in the zone are available. From January 2021, as free movement ends there will be a new UK points based immigration system. Under the points-based immigration system, anyone coming to the UK for work must meet a specific set of requirements. Visas are then awarded to those who meet all relevant criteria. The new system will treat EU1 and non-EU citizens equally and transform the way in which all migrants come to the UK to work. Anyone coming to the UK to work, excluding Irish citizens, will need to apply for permission in advance

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
