Senior Repairs Manager
Reporting to the Head of Regional Property you will lead and manage the responsive and void repairs service, ensuring top quartile performance and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for managing the relationship with Contractors ensuring that that the required level of service is delivered, value for money is achieved with a focus on contractor management to ensure remedial action is taken where required. You will lead and manage the Neighbourhood Repair Managers & Repairs Administration Team Leader and embed a strong culture of continuous improvement ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed performance and customer satisfaction targets.
You will engage with customers to develop the service over time, identify any areas of improvement work ensuring that these are addressed to deliver top quartile performance. You will ensure comprehensive up to date information on responsive repairs and voids and completions to maintain the internal knowledge of the condition of assets and in particular records of assets, risks and systems that the organisation has regulatory and statutory obligation to service and maintain. You will ensure rigorous financial control of contracts, delivering all services to budget and identify efficiency gains through effective resource management and innovation.
In order to be successful you should have demonstrable experience of managing the delivery of large outsourced responsive repairs and void repairs contracts, including the introduction of new forms of contract, tendering, procurement and the development of outsourced / in-house services. You will have the ability to analyse information to identify service failure and to effectively resolve these and drive continuous improvement. Clear knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative standards including the Consumer Standards, Disrepair legislation and the Human Habitation Act and hold a building related Degree or have equivalent qualification/ experience.

The base location for this role will be discussed at interview.
