Senior Service Transition Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Service Transition Manager.

Our Digital Data and Technology Services (DDTS) Function is currently undertaking a once in a generation Transformation, as the UK moves towards exiting the EU. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Service Transition Manager.
The role of the Senior Service Transition Manager is to manage and assure the transition of new or significantly changed IT services into production. They are responsible for assuring the readiness of the service to be deployed, the readiness of the Operations function to support and manage the service, and the readiness of the Business to receive the service being transitioned. They are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of a governance framework and associated process for transition management, and additionally for the integration of all relevant suppliers and assurance over the quality of their work. This includes:
• Creation, operation and maintenance of Service Transition Management governance framework and process.
• Integration and coordination of all suppliers involved in the Service Transition Management process.
• Assurance of the quality of all supplier Service Transition work.
• Enabling the transfer of contractual services between suppliers, providing high-level assurance of this and providing direction and oversight of the plans and overall performance during Service Transition.
• Managing and assuring the successful Transition of a new or changed service into production.
• Ensuring there is minimal unpredicted impact on the production services, operations and support organisation.
• Ensure appropriate planning for early life support in the Production environment in order to assure a reduced variation in the predicted and actual performance of transitioned services.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent experience.
• Experience transitioning complex multi-supplier services into operational support.
