A new opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to join our care and support team at Ashley Court in Lincoln. This will be a Monday to Sunday shift pattern with hours of either 7-3pm or 2-10pm.
Ashley Court is a purpose-built care home for adults with physical disabilities. It offers a total of 15 purpose-built single occupancy en-suite rooms. Based close to local bus routes and with free parking we are ideally placed for public transport and local commuter connections with shop facilities close by.
When you join us
Joining our team as Senior Care and Support worker you will be supported to be successful. Upon starting you will receive all personal protective equipment you require to perform your role. You will also be provided with all necessary training to complete your role.
As an individual you like to set a good example for others to follow, you like to inspire others to perform at their best and you enjoy helping to motivate and encourage them to do so.
Confident in providing excellent personal care, administering medication and helping to improve the lives of other to support them to be independent is a core part of your work ethic. Supporting both your team and your customers is paramount to you and you will normally go above and beyond to achieve this.
You’ll bring a strong experience of assessing individuals care needs, creating care plans for them and confident in ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to. Showing a sensitive approach to your work you will support your customers and team through both good and challenging scenarios.

Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in the care sector and will appreciate the importance of providing care for young adults with physical disabilities and be inspired to help them.
We are looking for a Senior Support Worker who goes that extra mile whilst working as part of a team. In order to deliver service excellence, you must demonstrate empathy, patience, humour and a ‘can do’ attitude.
You’ll ideally have completed your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care or be able to demonstrate an equivalent experience.
