Job Introduction
The role of theSenior TA Business Partner (Tech)is to own all recruitment activity in the technology and Product space, focusing on delivering CPH savings by maximising proactive sourcing techniques, internal referrals and improving our external brand. Working with the Group Talent Manager to establish consistent hiring practices across the function and addressing D&I throughout the hiring cycle will also be key deliverables.

You'll be managing a small team to drive a direct hiring model, partnering with our selected agency partners as and when needed.

This role provides a brilliant opportunity to help shape and drive the technology recruitment team, with plenty of opportunities to get involved in D&I initiatives, early careers hiring, brand awareness and outside-of-the-box talent attraction.

This role can be100% remote or Hybridwith our London HQ in Canary Wharf.

Key Responsibilities
This role will manage all permanent & contract vacancies within Product, Engineering and IT. This includes Fullstack Engineers, Data Engineering, Data Science / Analytics, Product Managers, QA, Mobile, Cloud and Cyber Security.

To deliver our 2022 hiring and D&I goals you will oversee a small team of technology recruiters and drive performance through data and analytics. We don't manage by KPI's but we want to track our successes and areas we can support each other on.

D&I is always part of the conversation when hiring. Your role will involve monitoring diversity across all applications, shortlist and hires, and support initiatives to improve diversity. You will have the support of our D&I manager on this as a wider business initiative.

Key to your success will be building relationships with our hiring managers and providing a first class hiring experience. You will need to be a strong communicator who can understand hiring challenges and support managers in finding the best solutions. You will attend regular senior management meetings to identify future skills needs/recruitment forecasting.

As part of the role you will oversee our third party suppliers including agencies and consultancies. This includes when to utilise them and track their performance over time.

We are looking to increase our direct sourcing utilising typical sources like LinkedIn, Cord and social media. This incorporates tracking and reporting on key data such as CV source, cost

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience as a team lead in the inhouse recruitment/TA space is essential
  • Previous experience of sourcing technical roles across product and engineering is essential
  • An understanding of contract hiring and IR35 regulation.
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of the talent acquisition field, with a track record of successful talent pipelining is essential
  • Previous experience of reducing cost per hire metrics and driving a direct hiring model is essential
  • The ability to collate, analyse and report on data to produce management information and insight is essential
  • Passionate about change and able to have challenging conversations to change something for the better
  • Able to influence stakeholders and promote the benefits of consistent hiring practices and following process
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to navigate and operate within a fast paced organisation
  • Naturally proactive, inquisitive, organised and efficient
  • Proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders
  • Passionate about promoting D&I throughout the hiring cycle and supporting managers in this space
  • Able to identify, develop and promote best practice with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
