Job Description

We are looking for an SEO Account Manager, you will work closely with the SEO Director in delivering effective and holistic SEO campaigns that exceed client objectives, go beyond client briefs by pushing the boundaries of the SEO offering, manage execution and align delivery, help educate internal teams and staff members, as well as developing their broad Digital knowledge.

As the SEO Account Manager, you will have an understanding of how digital experiences can impact both acquisition and conversion, as well as being driven by a continual test and learn approach to your work.

You will be responsible for a team of SEO Executives, managing their workload, ensuring the quality of their work as well as getting stuck in with much of the heavy lifting yourself. You will work closely with the SEO Account Director in developing the SEO offering and ensuring that all work coming out of the SEO team is of the highest quality.


  • You will have strong experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment working with enterprise-level clients
  • You will have experience line-managing a team of SEO / Owned Media specialists, ideally within an SEO or owned media focused agency environment
  • You are confident, comfortable and professional when communicating with clients and third-parties
  • A solidunderstanding of how to measure impact of owned media based strategies through analytics platforms and other external metrics
  • A solid good understanding of how to identify organic search opportunity, set business-relevant KPIs, project organic search performance and estimate expected return-on-investment
  • You will posses an understanding of how to use Search Trends, Demographic and User-behaviour data to reinforce an owned-first strategy
  • Ability to establish clear internal briefing and manage projects; distribute the workload appropriately; layout work in well-planned and organised manner; maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear and frequent communicator.

  • You have a good understanding of how websites and webservers work
  • You are able to demonstrate an understanding of the workings of common web languages like HTML and CSS / PHP or / JavaScript, Flash and HTML5

Additional Information


Expected to independently travel to internal and external meetings and conferences primarily within the UK, although occasionally there may be the expectation to travel outside of the UK, within the network, Covid permitting
