An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational administrative leader to join our team in the Integrated Sexual Health Service and related services. This is a permanent, part time, position working across the City Campus and Victoria Health Centre and some potential visits to several spoke clinics across Nottingham and South Nottingham.

You will work closely with the Business Manager and other management, analytical, administrative and clinical colleagues across the service and Division to develop and maximise the full potential of the role and provide key operational leadership and support the administrative team.

You will line manage and work closely with the Administration Manager and support the Administrative Team and provide professional leadership for all A&C staff in the service, and deputise for the Business Manager as appropriate.

You will have excellent line management, administrative, organisation, and communication skills and a strong understanding of NHS/NUH ways of working. You will celebrate success, be passionate about developing, coaching, and encouraging our A&C workforce. You will help and guide them to continuously improve processes and ways of working.

The Integrated Sexual Health Service is one of several specialties within the Reproductive Health Business Unit, which sits within the Family Health Division at NUH. The service offers a wide range of outpatient appointments, approximately 40,000 per year, at two main hubs and over 20 spoke clinics supported by Clinicians, Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Administrative roles and Pharmacy. There is a central call centre which operates across the two hubs where all phone calls are received and triaged. We are a friendly team who work closely together. The team also support interconnected services which include:
  • HIV inpatient and outpatients
  • Sexual Dysfunction treatment and counselling service
  • Support other healthcare services in sensitive locations
  • Health promotion and outreach
