We are looking for SHEQ Manager to join our Infrastructure Services Projects team on-site in Hinkley Point. This is a key role where you will provide Safety, Health, Environment and Quality leadership and guidance throughout all functions of the Hinkley Point C project.

  • Provide leadership, support and coaching of site SHEQ team
  • Act as the contract Quality lead
  • Take ownership Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems
  • Produce Internal Audit Schedule and undertake audits
  • Produce monthly reports on the project SHEQ performance
  • Review the SHEQ preparations by the delivery team when preparing for maintenance and schemes
  • Carry out site SHEQ inspections
  • Assist the Project Managers / Site Agents producing Quality documentation and deliverables
  • Review Sub-Contractor performances against client and contract deliverables.
  • Raise, record and review completion of Non-Conformances
  • Lead interaction with client SHEQ teams
  • Adhere to Skanska & NNB health and safety policy, Quality & environmental policy and actively supporting the Injury Free Environment (IFE) culture that is an integral part of the Skanska working environment and the Zero Harm initiative at HPC
  • Report Quality metrics data to IS
  • Act as the conduit between contract & wider Skanska Projects SHEQ functions
  • Undertake investigation of significant incidents and accidents
We're looking for:
  • Significant experience in SHEQ enabling functions
  • Lead Auditor qualified
  • Level 5 Academically recognised qualification or above (i.e. Diploma/Degree/NVQ) in relating to Health, Safety & Wellbeing
  • Good IT Skills
  • Good Construction Knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiar with Inspection & Testing Plans
