Note: Works will not begin until2021 - we are seeking to understand the skills in the UK marketplace -therefore would appreciate you registering your interest if you have theapplicable skills. Recruitment will commence towards the end of 2020 - early2021. Role is based in West London.

Reporting to the General Foreman, the role would suit an experiencedconstruction professional with good liaison and communications skills and theability to integrate into a team.

Roles, Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Supervising own labour and subcontractors on site and construction of the works to specification and to programme
  • Ensure that details of the safe systems of work developed are communicated to all who will carry out or may be affected by the operation and that the systems are implemented to achieve Target Zero approach to safety
  • Plan and maintain safe and tidy work sites, both internally and externally to public areas
  • Ensure that all machinery, plant, equipment, portable tools and electrical systems are properly installed, regularly inspected and maintained in good condition to minimise environmental damage or pollution
  • Safeguard employees Health and Safety and ensure that adequate records are maintained
  • Control of the execution of the Works in a safe and effective manner complying with the requirements of the contract
  • Identify, plan and monitor labour needs
  • Delivery of the daily briefings and toolbox talks
  • Ensure that records are kept for work performed, problems experienced, labour force in each area, communications to/from client, sub-contractor and third parties
  • Assisting authors in the production of Risk Assessments Method Statements
  • Involvement in planning for 4 week look ahead programme and collaborative planning for key activities
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to implementation of the Project Management Plan and attainment of the stated quality targets
  • Ensure all delivery records are sent to accounting team
  • Assist supervisor track works and coordinate with COSS

Ihre Qualifikationen

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Must have demonstrable experience of Ground Engineering and Diaphragm Walls.
  • NVQ Level 3 Supervision minimum (essential)
  • CSCS Card gold/black
  • SMSTS Trained
  • Crane Supervisory skills a benefit
  • Good knowledge and practical experience of legal requirements and how to comply with them
  • Good knowledge and practical experience of planning and organising construction
