Job Description

The Social Media Manager role is a mixed paid and organic social media role, supporting the PR and Policy team in researching, developing and executing social media content.

You will be working under the direction of the Social Media Strategist to lead paid social media across accounts, with ownership of other social media initiatives. This role will help upskill the PRP team and more junior social media team members.


•You'll be able to demonstrate an interest in social media and be naturally passionate and curious about health (but don't need health experience)

•You'll have proven experience of developing paid and organic social media content, campaigns and reports which achieve specific objectives on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

•You'll be alert to evolving dynamics in the social media environment and how it could impact the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, being able to constantly evaluate and edit work in light of this

•You'll be able to manage your work independently, under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects

•You will be curious and adventurous and be determined to find the best solution

•You love considering how social media feeds into clients' bigger business objectives and supports other communication and marketing initiatives

•You will have some experience line managing, developing and motivating more junior members of the team

•You are patient and inspired by the opportunity to help grow our clients' and colleagues social media expertise
