We have an exciting vacancy for a Specialist (Transition & Service Level Management) working as part of the Service Management Team within NHS Wales Informatics Service. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, developing and managing IT Service requirements, Service Schedules, plans and procedures for specific national clinical and non-clinical IT Services.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is able to work, learn and actively contribute within a team environment, and has a working knowledge of how information and technology support the delivery of patient services throughout NHS Wales.

The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience of IT Service Management and the disciplines that make up the ITIL framework (with at least an ITIL Foundation qualification).

Previous experience of working in a governance-focused environment, would be beneficial, as would the ability to document agreements, policies, processes and procedures to a high standard of quality.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
