The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Community Operations team is charged with defining a plan for ensuring our AMZL operations deliver a positive net impact in the communities where we operate today and in the future. AMZL Community Operations is hiring senior level program managers to lead strategic initiatives that integrate standard work into projects reaching across all functions of this fast-paced and growing organization. We seek leaders with proven project or product management experience who can set priorities, communicate clearly, and leverage relationships to work seamless across multiple stakeholder groups to consistently deliver results. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing standard process and protocols, driving execution and communicating to senior leaders on status, risks, and process/product changes. You must have the capability to create and present whitepapers for senior executives and an ability to solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative and practical solutions. Along with a passion for driving operational standards with a focus on the customer and our communities.

Key responsibilities include:
· Manage full life-cycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations that help shape AMZL as a good neighbor
· Build strong relationships and drive strategic alignment across organizations including Under the Roof and On the Road Operations, Driver Programs, Delivery Station Providers, and Flex
· Identify gaps and opportunities for collaborative solutions between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
· Deliver an integrated system in which processes and tools are designed for an efficient, safe, and engaged operation, while feedback mechanisms inform process owners for continuous improvement and drive accountability
· Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
· Solve ambiguous problems systemically, proactively identifying and mitigating risks (before they become roadblocks)
· Uncover and analyze hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases
· Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
· Desire to travel " go see, walk the shop floor"


· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
· Experience in global program, project, or product management
· Experience with process improvement techniques and tools
· Prior experience in roles that required written and verbal communication; and presenting complex information to senior leadership.


· MA and/or MBA
· 5 + years of experience in continuous improvement, product management, project management, supply chain, logistics, technology or e-commerce
Experience using analytical and quantitative tools; intermediate use of Excel (e.g. pivots, data connections, macros)
· Experience using project management software (e.g. Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project)
· Intermediate understanding/experience with the process management discipline (e.g., process maps, Kaizen, KPI creation, QA/QC development, gemba, L6Sigma)
· Basic to intermediate understanding/experience with automation design and implementation (e.g., business requirements development, modeling, database schema design, Unified Modeling Language, SCRUM/sprints)
· Ability and desire to travel " go see, walk the shop floor"
