The Amazon Transportation Services Technology team is looking for a passionate product manager to lead the data and metrics platform for Amazon's transportation network. The PerfectMile team is a worldwide business intelligence and data integration team supporting Amazon's transportation network, composed of software, business intelligence and data engineers. Together, we support Amazon Operations, Finance and HR by providing reliable, consistent and accurate insight and intelligence for our transportation network.

In this role, you will work with internal customers at all levels of the organization - Operations, Customer service, HR, Technology, Operational Research, Health & Safety, Loss & Prevention. This PM will be an independent thinker who makes convincing, data-driven decisions to build product roadmap and features. The ideal candidate will devise clear strategy, positioning and execution priorities with partner teams and will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. S/he will be a pragmatic visionary who can identify opportunities and lead the team to translate them into workable, scalable technology solutions. S/he must be comfortable working with complex challenges, and working with engineering, product, other stakeholders internationally. S/he will also be an expert in building and developing high performance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with senior management and engineers to support business intelligence product team, including gathering inputs from leadership and partner teams, roadmap planning and prioritization, promoting best practices.
· Establishing and leading solutions across multiple teams. Champion data and metrics instrumentation during the development lifecycle for new products and services
· Drive development of tools, automation, and new innovative and insightful reports
· Support last mile, transportation and sortation business teams with data and analytical needs
· Create buy-in for product vision both internally and externally and evangelize that vision within the organization
· Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and design
· Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
· Drive projects, product and feature launches with teams inside Amazon

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA/MSc with 5+ years of experience in relevant field
· Experience in managing business intelligence, performance management, or analytics software products
· Experience of managing the lifecycle of a product or a key product feature with considerable impact (>$10M annual revenue or &gt100K active users)
· Exceptional customer & stakeholder relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, prioritize, recommend alternative technical and business approaches.
· Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
· Independent and entrepreneurial outlook. Proven ability to work with minimal direction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience of setting up product vision & strategy and drive the execution of them
· Experience working with software development teams to deliver software products
· Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics domain
· High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast paced online environment
· Having technical knowledge to understands the reasons behind product/feature architecture decisions
· Able to assess emerging technologies and how to apply them to product/feature use cases.
