The Product Assurance, Risk and Security (PARS) team in Luxembourg are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Program Manager, Circular Economy to join the Project Management Office. This role will be critical in ensuring the PARS organization is adequately funded, operationally ready and establish scalable solutions to support all current and future EU legislation relating to the Circular Economy. You should possess the ability to influence people across the organization, creating win-win solutions, and the desire to support innovation at Amazon. To do this, you must enjoy managing complex initiatives across numerous business models; create certainty out of ambiguous requirements, while having a firm grasp over the operational, strategic, and overall vision of the project. A successful candidate will be analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and will have an ability to innovate. You will gain the opportunity to interact and work with multiple teams at Amazon steering how we prepare ourselves for new regulations relating to sustainability and circular economy.

We are seeking a leader with the ability to synthesize and communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders across Sr. leadership, engineering, product, finance, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build, develop and manage the program roadmap for critical customer experience improvement initiatives; Define areas of focus/opportunity supported by analysis, develop solutions, identify owners, set delivery/completion dates and set up mechanisms to ensure programs are on track
-Coordinate across product, build, and service teams through use case development, feature definition, business model, prioritization, go-to-market and adoption.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic and project goals
· Make prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer experience, seller experience, and business value
· Actively build relationships across Amazon teams, and with external suppliers and partners, to deliver on your roadmap. Partner with program/product managers, category teams, finance, legal, public policy to coordinate, and implement strategies to ensure operational readiness for new and upcoming legislation.
· Operate autonomously; drive programs end to end including business goals and customer and seller-facing aspects. Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside merchants and vendors to develop optimal solutions
·Able to quickly learn about and understand different businesses and dive deep into their needs, risks, and opportunities.
· Prepare reports impacting cross-functional teams to be presented to senior level management
· Work with business owners to validate assumptions and fill in gaps in our knowledge to ensure we build the right Programs and processes.
· Leverage agile planning techniques, encourage and reward creative design and intelligent risk taking, and find innovative ways to leverage cutting edge technology.

· 5+ years of experience owning and driving end-to-end large scale cross-functional programs. Able to prioritize activities in complex projects/programs, and influence stakeholders, at times with limited direct authority
-Coordinate across product, build, and service teams through use case development, feature definition, business model, prioritization, go-to-market and adoption.
· Strong project management skills of breaking down tasks, simplifying roadmaps, establishing owners and timelines, and status reporting
· Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
· Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
· Innovative; loves to challenge status quo and reinvent on behalf of our sellers and customers
· BA in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience
· Knowledge of professional project management certification (Prince2, PMI etc.)
· Experience using your written and verbal communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences


· 7+ years in program management
· Experience with sustainability and environmental projects
· Proficiency in SQL
· Experience in business domains such as management, logistics, packaging, and circular economy
· Experience coordinating teams across multiple sites and time zones
· Experience developing and delivering on large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in support of business goals in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement of systems, software, and processes through data analysis and metrics
· Experience building complex, high-performance, and highly-available distributed software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
