DESCRIPTION

Amazon is hiring an experienced, innovative, hands-on, customer-centric Sr. Program Manager for its Sortation Center Operations Technology team. We are looking for an team member who is passionate about technology and driven to deliver best-in-class efficient solutions for Amazon's operations and customers.

You will supervise technology integration and configuration of tier-1 technical systems that are critical to our network flows. By virtue of interaction with core systems functioning as the backbone for our supply chain, this role provides an significant opportunity to learn about complex algorithms and network settings for optimized volume flows.
The position is based at Amazon's EU Headquarters in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities include:
· Working closely with core product teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvements and new product/features to critical configuration tools
· Support expansion projects in the EU network
· Coordinating improvement initiatives like Kaizens
· Performing data analytics to influence and guide design decisions
· Troubleshooting operational tech issues and liaising with multiple teams to diagnose and fix them
· Overseeing implementation of change with partner teams with a close attention to detail and a thorough audit process
· Inventing solutions to simplify and innovate tech systems and their integration

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g. computer science, engineering)
· Substantial Project Management experience with technical projects
· Proficiency in SQL, Advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to work with large volumes of data
· Motivated and driven with a solid desire and ability to deliver results despite constraints and issues
· Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical teams across geographies
· Ability to work in a innovative environment with great ownership, solid judgment and quick decision-making skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in Operations and Logistics
· Demonstrated ability to conceptualize technology solutions that are scalable and innovative
· Experience in software development is a bonus
