The EU Launch & Expansion team is growing as Amazon continues to expand their world class last mile delivery experience for customers. If you are passionate about delivery operations and look around corners for ways to serve customers, we want your help.

Amazon Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Senior Launch Inventory Manager to support the strategic expansion initiatives of our European Last Mile Delivery network. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters and quick learners who are comfortable managing complex projects. This individual will manage the EU Launch Inventory team responsible for defining equipment standards, creating project plans and providing supplier engagement support to the Launch Execution teams across the European network. The Senior Launch Inventory Manager must be capable of providing directional feedback to senior business leaders to aid in launch related decision-making, be comfortable interfacing with various stakeholder teams as well as individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Responsible for managing the EU Launch Inventory Team
· Leads the future development for equipment standards across the European network.
· Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and providing comprehensive business updates.
· Is capable of taking accountability while providing status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessary
· Monitors project plans and flags any execution delays that will have an impact to network operational readiness
· Possesses a broad operational background and has the ability to effectively communicate across the business
. Contributes to strategic design planning

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Experience interacting with cross-functional teams
· Experience developing and managing complex projects
· Fluent in English
· Strong verbal and written communication skills - multiple language skills a plus
· Work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Occasional EU-travel required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA
· Experienced procurement professional
· Experience working with CAD
· Prior experience with project/program management, logistics or engineering
