The Amazon Transportation Services Technology team is looking for an experienced technical program manager to drive various initiatives in business intelligence and performance reporting in transportation and logistics. The PerfectMile team is a worldwide business intelligence and data integration team supporting Amazon's transportation network, composed of software, business intelligence and data engineers. Together, we support Amazon Operations, Finance and HR by providing reliable, consistent and accurate insight and intelligence for our transportation network.

Responsibilities of this role include working with product management to define strategy and requirements, identifying and securing commitment from teams across the company for new initiatives, driving consensus on the technical approach, setting timelines, and leading cross-functional development teams from design to product launch. You'll need to be a strong project manager with technical and business acumen as well as an excellent communicator -- whether working with developers or providing updates to business leadership.


· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
· 7+ years of experience with software project management across the complete product lifecycle.
· Demonstrated track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, cross-organizational projects.
· Ability to translate feature requests into technical specifications, and influence design and architectural decisions.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, product managers, and business leaders.
· Understanding of agile software development processes


· Experience with large-scale distributed systems, web services, and/or web applications.
· Experience in developing technical strategies.
· Experience with big data technologies.
· Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics domain
· High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast paced online environment
· Able to assess emerging technologies and how to apply them to product/feature use cases.
