The CCGs in Bradford Districts and Craven are responsible for planning and buying healthcare services for local people. We commission services including community health, maternity, planned hospital care, and rehabilitation, urgent and emergency care and continuing healthcare and are committed to working with our diverse communities to ensure these are appropriate and responsive to local needs.

You will bring a creative approach to drive commissioning and steer the focus on to align with a future model that is system led and population focused, where partners jointly facilitate and drive the health and care agenda. You will have a strong track record in leading system change in challenging and complex situations where the ability to interpret data and intelligence to inform planning is essential. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and manage relationships confidently.

Your workload will involve managing conflicting priorities at times, with a requirement for you to be agile and flexible in demonstrating robust leadership responsibility for prioritisation and organisation.

You will contribute operational insight across the system and help to gather reliable intelligence that points to service improvements and innovative ideas that benefit population health. You will have a whole person focus, with a view to working with provider colleagues to promote wellness and self-care, prevent ill health, reduce the need for intervention and enable timely intervention when needed.
