Variable GLA4021

We are looking for a person to join our high-performing Infrastructure team, based at City Hall. We seek someone who has a passion for London and operates well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

With the city projected to grow to 10.8 million by 2041, infrastructure networks must change and adapt, with a minimised impact on Londoners lives. This is a challenge and the Infrastructure team is working to address it by supporting coordination of infrastructure planning and delivery across London.

The role has a focus on collaborative streetworks and provides a chance to work on a wide range of projects, supporting the development of initiatives designed to improve the way in which infrastructure is delivered in the city. You will be working with highway authorities, utilities, transport providers and other relevant stakeholders, at the centre of changing the status quo and business practices.

In order to meet the requirements of the role you will be well organised, have strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively in a variety of forms with a diverse range of people.

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds. London's diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London's diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements.

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan and a career average pension scheme.
