We are looking for a Supervisor to join our Cambridgeshire Highways team on-site in March. Working within our Infrastructure Services Division, you will organise, direct and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations team to ensure they are working in a safe and efficient manner.

You'll:
  • Deliver the services in line with the contract requirements and to the satisfaction of the client and their customers
  • Ensure all work allocated is appropriately supervised and executed in accordance with agreed specifications
  • Focus on operational gross margins of all work that you are delivering
  • Be responsible for the day to day Health & Safety of directly employed staff and Supply Chain Partners
  • Successfully manage your immediate team
  • Provide clear communication to ensure clarity in all situations and to effectively influence client decision making
  • Successfully organise and prioritise needs for stakeholders, delivering on key objectives
  • Successfully collaborate and build relationships across the wider teams
We're looking for:
  • Experience in construction and delivery and workforce supervision
  • Commercially driven to be able to capture working cost efficiencies, cost control and saving money wherever possible for the mutual benefit of the client and Skanska
  • Experience within the highway maintenance industry
  • CSCS, NRSWA and SSSTS/SMSTS
  • Effective team management, leadership, motivational and influencing skills to get the best from everyone
