Job description
RNIB Sunshine House School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic teaching assistants. We are a specialist school for blind and partially sighted children and young people with additional needs and offer a wide range of specialist resources.

We work in alliance with The Eden Academy, benefitting from the academy's extensive expertise in special educational needs and working as part of a family of schools. Through this we deliver exceptional educational and therapeutic standards.

A number of positions are now available to facilitate the expansion of our service. This is an exciting time to join our Education Team! You will work as a part of a team in small class groups to support and assist the class teacher in the daily management and education of the students.

Experience of working with children and young people with special needs is essential as is the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
