PwC have an exciting opportunity for professional Support Specialists to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE) team in Birmingham. As a Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administration and project support to internal stakeholders across the business. The role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to build your technical expertise and knowledge of PwC processes & procedures.

Key role requirements are as follows:
  • The ability to quickly build and maintain trusted and professional stakeholder relationships, most of which will be on a remote / virtual basis.
  • The experience to confidently manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines, whilst always maintaining an exceptional quality of work and high levels of attention to detail.
  • The confidence to influence behavioral change and spot opportunities to provide technology solutions, thereby adding value and efficiency to the customer experience.
  • Act as a strong team player by supporting colleagues, actively sharing your knowledge and expertise, thus ensuring the CoE delivers a seamless service.
  • Having an agile and open mind about adopting emerging technology.

About the role

The role will include a variety of responsibilities, as outlined below:

Digital Innovation
  • Curious mindset, determining how emerging technologies can support new ways of working
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to new technology in a fast moving tech environment.
  • Ability to upskill self and others within the team from a digital standpoint, keeping up-to-date with technology and system changes.

Ad-Hoc Project Support
  • Attending key stakeholder meetings to gain an understanding of the requirements of the project.
  • Attending training / briefing sessions prior to the beginning of a project.
  • Prioritising workloads and meeting project deadlines, efficiently and effectively.

Diary/Meeting Support
  • Organising meetings (internal or client) and managing existing calendar invites.
  • Associated room bookings, catering, AV requirements, name badges, etc.
  • Assisting with associated Google technologies, such as Google Meet recording or Live Streams.

Other responsibilities:
  • Travel Management - Research and organisation of travel requests, Itinerary preparation for complex travel, booking flights, trains, accommodation, car hire, etc. Ensuring adherence to PwC travel policy.
  • Documents - Prepare, amend, format, scan, print documents and correspondence - complying with brand and risk procedures - including letters of engagement, PowerPoint/Slides presentation, minutes of meetings etc.
  • Proactive relationship building - when new stakeholders relationships are being established, work with the individual to understand their working style and contract with them on the areas where you will provide support and add value.
  • Team Support - provide support for unplanned/emergency absences and act as a point of contact for urgent queries during planned and pre-agreed absence cover.
  • Event Management - client or internal events to include: organising guest lists, food preferences, agendas, invitations, name badges and more.
