You'll play a key role in enabling our residents to live as independently as possible and engage in activities that are so often taken for granted.

It really is a career like no other! No working day is the same but you could be helping residents to:

You don't need qualifications to join us as we will help you achieve these. You just need to:

* have patience and be calm under pressure as well as sociable, caring and supportive

* work as part of a team to provide excellent person-centred support to our residents and their families

* have good problem solving and communications skills

* prioritise your workload effectively

Experience of working in a social care or residential environment is desirable but not essential.

We'll provide you with full training. After a thorough induction, you'll shadow an experienced Support Worker, enjoy ongoing training and gain a recognised Care Certificate and optional Health & Social Care Diploma.

For candidate's who wish to progress we offer excellent management progression paths to help you excel in a career where you truly can make a difference.

Above all, if you are passionate about making a positive difference to those affected with sight loss, we'd love to hear from you.
