Your new role:
The Regent in Penrith is an independent Supported Living service, providing innovative and person-centred support to enable individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illnesses and challenging behaviours, to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community.
As a Support Worker you will provide a high level of tailored support, ensuring the needs of the people who use our services are met in positive and creative ways. You’ll assist with daily tasks including some personal care, daily cleaning tasks, medication, supporting to appointments and social events within the community, support to grocery shop and cooking of meals. Doing this whilst always encouraging choice and participation on a day to day basis, shall result in you enabling the people whom we support to attain their full potential, living the life they choose.
You will receive ongoing training and development to build your skills, experience and career.

No experience needed!
You don’t need any specific qualifications or experience although experience of the care sector is an advantage. You will, however, need plenty of enthusiasm and passion for our work!
