The Role

This is a critical business growth support role and the successful candidate will be part of a broader people operations team within PwC's Operate, focussed on talent attraction, staffing, people performance, engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with Operate leadership, you will support the continued growth of Operate by driving talent attraction priorities. Reporting to the Head of Op-Talent Attraction, you will support and drive priorities focussed around headcount and cost management. You will also be involved in 1st stage interviews across a number of our talent channels including Assured Skills Academies, Student Recruitment, Experienced Hire, Contingent and Temps and Contractors.
  • Take a Business Partner Advisor approach to develop key relationships across Operate and provide market insights particularly for entry level hiring.
  • Work with the brand team to drive specific attraction campaigns and ensure effective advertising and job descriptions are prepared.
  • Conduct interviews for entry level candidates.
  • Work with central teams to support the implementation of technology enhanced recruitment tools into Operate.
  • Provide support across a range of activities associated with the Assured Skills Academies.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience focussed on people operations activities, including talent management and attraction
  • Previous experience managing large scale recruitment projects including conducting interviews
  • Strong commercial thinking and business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture and translate strategic thinking into a detailed operational plan
  • Strong communication and influencing skills - has the confidence to constructively challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to understand the interaction of key business drivers, interpret and make recommendations to improve business performance
  • Action orientated with an ability to plan and multitask, remain calm under pressure and operate in a growing and changing environment
  • Forward thinking, proactive and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Able to build respect and credibility across a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate others and demonstrate strong team-work
  • A well developed network across the education sector would be desirable
  • Project management experience may be advantageous

Base Location

The role will be based in Belfast, however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may be asked to travel to other UK locations for short periods. Candidates who are unable or do not wish to work in other locations will still be considered.
