It's an exciting time to join the European Commercial Team at SHL. After several years of public ownership, SHL is back under private ownership and operating as an independent Talent Assessment business. This presents fantastic opportunity for our managers and teams to influence strategy, to step-up and drive growth again, and build a high-performance culture in one of our most critical regions.

You will be part of a team that contributes to leading the transformation at SHL. This role will offer you breadth in the consulting field and an opportunity to work for the global market leader.
As our newly appointed senior consultant you will work closely with the Commercial teams and other Central teams in order to design solutions which delight customers.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be a trusted adviser to our clients providing market insights and conducting research to ensure they receive the best in class solutions. You will have a broad view of the market and competitor landscape and demonstrate presence and thought leadership.

  • Partnering - You will work hand in hand with both the sales teams and clients to shape, scope and position solutions in order to win business.
  • Account planning and strategy development - Your role will involve developing strategies to increase the breadth and penetration of our propositions within key clients or client portfolios. You will provide expert advice to our sales team and to clients on how our solutions drive people performance.
  • Commercial Advice and Rigour - You will contribute to the Talent Assessment growth by advising on and scoping profitable Professional Services work that fully explores and challenges client needs and makes best use of existing solutions and packages. You will identify themes and trends in the industry and by sector, making suggestions for innovation and solution positioning within the UK market.
  • Sharing Knowledge & Expertise - You will contribute to the success of the DACH business and team through regularly sharing knowledge and expertise. You will coach, mentor and support consultants and sales colleagues. You will also regularly contribute to the Professional Services agenda and identify opportunities to up-skill and enable colleagues across the UK&I team.
  • Best Practice Representation - You will be recognised by clients, and internally, as highly credible, knowledgeable and professional, a go-to expert in the industry and across the full range of Talent Assessment offerings. You will proactively manage professional networks, through attending events, making use of social media and representing the SHL brand. You will offer a compelling reason why clients want to work with us and use our products and services.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Occupational Psychology degree (MSc.) (or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven client management experience
  • Excellent English and German Skills
