Are you a tax professional hungry to learn and broaden your skill set in a varied role? We have a fixed term vacancy to cover a period of maternity leave for a Tax Manager, an opportunity to join our group finance team.

Role & Team:

This is an ideal role for a tax professional to get experience of a multitude of different taxes and jurisdictions in a supportive environment. In this role you’ll be responsible for overseeing the international tax affairs of the Group, including corporate tax and VAT. This will include diverse activities, such as leading the BEPS review of the group structure, tackling an R&D reclaim as well as maintaining the day to day compliance of the Group.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • In this role you’ll have responsibility for tax compliance across the Group as well as leading projects such as reviewing group structure, PE risks, and transfer pricing arrangements; R&D reclaims, system/process changes and managing the relationship with our external tax advisors.
  • You’ll have responsibility for preparing indirect tax returns and the preparation of direct tax returns both for the Group’s UK companies and the worldwide subsidiaries.
  • Maintaining the ongoing compliance with internal risk management policies.

Who We’re looking For:

  • Are you ACA or CTA qualified?
  • Are you curious and hungry to learn?
  • Are you a hands on professional who enjoys working at a variety of levels?
  • Do you have excellent organisation and planning skills?
  • Do you have up to date technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and awareness of UK VAT rules?
  • Do you have excellent organisation and planning skills?
  • Experience in working in the media or technology industry would be ideal!
