Teaching Assistant (RNIB Three Spires Academy, Coventry)
RNIB Three Spires Academy is a primary school for children aged from 4-11 years who have a range of special educational needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties. Around half of our pupils also have an additional diagnosis of autism. Many have difficulties with communication.
We are looking to add to our team of hardworking, energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants. We offer variety and challenge within a small friendly school.
You will work as a part of a team in a class to support and assist the teacher in the daily management and education of our pupils. Experience or a dedication to working with children with special educational needs is essential as is the commitment to learn and apply new skills. You will need to be resilient, ready for a challenge and be willing to go that extra mile for the pupils. We will consider a job share for the right candidates.
