Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises .

The Children, Young People and Family Health Services Directorate, has a number of exciting opportunities for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as Team Secretaries. We have the following roles available:

5 Hours - Neurodevelopment Team
30 Hours - Eating Disorders Team
30 hours - Enfys (A psychology-led service for children who are looked after)

The successful applicants should have a proactive and friendly attitude and be able to demonstrate substantial administrative experience and be able to meet the main duties of the role.

You will be required to work to a high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the teams to effectively deliver clinical services.

It's important that you are an excellent communicator with experience of working to tight and changing deadlines. Applicants will be highly organised and efficient with excellent time and diary management skills and the ability to prioritise requests and to deal with conflicting demands. A high level of attention to detail supported by strong ICT skills is essential and proven skills and experience of providing secretarial support to large teams.
