Here's what you'll be doing

Technical Delivery Manager - 12 Month fixed term contract

£36k - £46k depending on experience plus additional benefits

Location - Annesley, Nottinghamshire

At E.ON we want to be the market leader and have ambitious plans to grow the business to offer customers the best products, customer journey and support.

We are now looking for an additional team member to be responsible for designing residential Solar & Storage solutions, working with Sales and Delivery teams to make sure systems are installed safely, at or below target margin, and to time, quality and to meet all required standards. The role is critical to achieving a smooth and speedy customer journey and keeping customers informed about the technical design directly or via Sales

The role is office based with occasional site visits. It would be well suited for a person with a technical or surveying degree or electrical apprenticeship with experience of working in the Solar industry.

What we need from you

  • Energy, surveying or technical degree qualification or electrical apprenticeship or similar.
  • Good understanding of, and experience of working in the solar or building services industries.
  • Back office experience with a strong attention to detail, as you will be dealing with data analysis and the review and preparation of surveys and customer quotations - as such, you will have to be precise and consistent in your work.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as you will engage various stakeholders through the value chain, in particularly the on-site sales team.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
  • Work to improve Solar processes eg technical survey and handover, system designs and ordering
Be great if you had
  • Understanding of solutions such solar PV, batteries, electric vehicle charging, smart home technologies from both a technical and commercial standpoint.
  • Experience preparing the order for solar system materials to hand to install-planning, looking to optimise cost, quality and time to install.
