Technical Specialist

Working as part of the Investigations, Insider Risk & Data Loss Prevention team within the Chief Security Office, you will be part of an exciting team which helps to detect and prevent data loss incidents and fraudulent activity identified as part of the Cyber threat landscape and insider risk threat.

We are currently seeking a Technical Specialist to work within the Strategic Projects & Technical Development team who has experience of Data Loss technologies and an understanding of User Behaviour Analytics, the Cloud and data loss and insider risk threats.

This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues across the Chief Security Office and all Business Units, supporting the delivery of strategic objectives, processes, controls and capability to protect Lloyds Banking Group.


What we're looking for....

  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work and interact with people at all levels, a strong analytical approach and the ability to find creative and innovative solutions which will support the delivery of our strategy.
  • Knowledge and experience of Data Loss and Insider Risk detection, prevention and methodology
  • Ability to develop new rules to enhance detection capabilities to mitigate the risk of the Insider Threat and Data Loss
  • Awareness and understanding of Change Management and Route to Live procedures
  • Experience in effective risk reduction management and operational control frameworks
  • Ideally knowledge/experience of Regex, SQL, Office 365 and/or User Behaviour Analytics
  • You will develop an understanding of LBG Policies, standards and regulatory and statutory requirements
  • You'll contribute to the creation and maintenance of platform specific documentation
  • You'll develop an understanding of the key stakeholders for the platform (e.g. business, 3rd party supplier) and within CSO
  • You'll takes ownership in defining your own Development Plan
  • The ability to drive actions, and show initiative
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work and interact with people at all levels, a strong analytical approach and the ability to find creative and innovative solutions which will support the delivery of our strategy.
