Job purpose

To support Field Sales Teams by generating and scheduling pre-qualified appointments in defined geographical areas, in line with the local business strategy by phone.

Your principal responsibilities will be to;

  • Schedule a predetermined number of prospective customer appointments

  • To manage and build a pipeline of opportunity to appointment for field sales teams to visit

  • Qualify and manage a contact strategy for geographical prospects

  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with prospective customers

  • Diary management of Area Sales Executives

Your Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications;

  • Previous experience in a telesales or tele appointment role is essential

  • Evidence of strong customer service skills

  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Good IT ability with attention to detail

  • Have the ability to work as a team

  • Experience of CRM, particularly Salesforce is advantageous

  • Knowledge of Environmental services not essential, but useful

Qualifications
 

 Your Knowledge, skills and experience

 

To be successful for the role it is essential that you have a proven track record in New Business field sales and/or commercial activities, together with a proven track record of building a New Business pipeline of potential opportunities to further generate and exceed a given sales target.

 

You will have an excellent knowledge of the sales cycle with exceptional networking and negotiation skills. In addition, you will have strong presentation skills and possess outstanding verbal and written communication ability. Additionally, you will be a driven, self-starter and be IT literate.
