Transportation Network Design Analyst

· In this role, you will be responsible for long range network design of the EU Amazon Network, with the aim to improve outbound transportation speed, reliability, and cost.
You will be defining how Amazon's customer packages go from it's origin Warehouse to their doorstep.

You will interact with stakeholders from across ATS, GTS, AMZL, supply chain, and tech.
The main responsibilities of this role will be:

· Optimizing the middle mile network for customer experience, cost and speed.
· Evaluation of business cases impacting the network on the parameters of customer experience, cost and speed
· Improving/automating the decision making and network audit process to improve efficiency.
· Developing new metrics, dashboards to monitor the efficiency of the middle mile network design
· Collaborating with multiple stakeholders
· Working closely with colleagues (Operations Research Scientists and Network Planners) to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stake-holders
· Designing and managing robust cross-functional processes to sync monthly execution to planning


· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business or analytical field
· Proficiency in MS Excel
· Professional experience making recommendations and decisions based on complex analyses and data
· Ability to deliver short and long term projects with limited supervision
· Professional experience collaborating as part of a team and influencing senior leaders
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Proficiency in English


· Master's degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mathematics / Science / Engineering / Business Development.
· Proven experience managing highly complex and ambiguous projects requiring strong analytics, fast business judgment and ability to align with stakeholders
· Experience using one or more of Python, VBA, MATLAB, Java, C++ programming languages
· Background in Logistics/Supply Chain industry or its related analytics.
