Enterprise Engineers build industry leading, highly intuitive software that underpin business functions across Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce and Security. Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work. As a Front End Enterprise Engineer, you will model complex, multi-party workflows into intuitive web and mobile interfaces that evolve with Facebook's business. In addition, you will coach and mentor others and define the strategy that guides the team to develop mission critical systems with high availability, integrity, and reliability.

UI Enterprise Engineer Responsibilities

• Own product architecture and collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to set the technical direction and create software that optimizes for business metrics

• Communicate technology and product strategy effectively to both internal and external stakeholders and leadership

• Build industry leading enterprise systems that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secure

• Produce highly reliable and performant code with appropriate monitoring and alerting

• Implement the features and user interfaces of Facebook internal products

• Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications

• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years experience building intuitive systems in Javascript technologies such as React or AngularJS, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6. Experience with React is a bonus

• HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility

• Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance

• 1+ years experience working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs, GraphQL

• 1+ years experience modeling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and upstream/downstream integrations

• 1+ years experience building secure software with auditable access controls and permissions

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
