The Technology team leads the way in the application of modern IT to the business in our Contract management / Governance and supply management team we cover a wide spectrum to understand our business to design and apply leading edge technology and insights.

Right now, we're looking for a highly influential Vendor & Contract Associate with a strong background in supplier relationships, to join our team to provide a range of contract support activities with a real go getter and entrepreneur attitude with the ability to problem solve whilst driving forward with cost saving initiatives.

It will be down to you look after all our software licence contracts and renewals. You will need to collate licensing requirements from across the E.ON UK business and build those into your negotiating strategy to ensure we are getting the best deals. You will then finalise the deal and progress all relevant financial processes to completion. This role will suit someone who can work on their own initiative and make this job their own by tailoring a process that works smarter, whilst also utilising their negotiation skills.

Stakeholder management and building relationships is key in this role as you will be the point of contact for our finance & commercial queries working with various external and internal members.

What we need from you

  • Ability to discuss complex requirements with suppliers and ensure current packages are optimal.
  • Financial acumen, ensuring that value for money is key with all negotiated deals.
  • Administrative experience with strong organisational skills.
  • Analytical skills - requires tenacity, influencing and the ability to challenge various groups of individuals, and at different working levels.
  • Be approachable and good at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Have a professional approach to communicating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Experience of working towards deadlines with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Nice to have:
  • Contract knowledge, understanding legal jargon
  • Experience in using SAP.
