The role as VP of Ethics & Compliance

In the role as VP of Ethics & Compliance, you are responsible together with your team for ensuring that Skanska's values permeate all parts of the business. In this role, you work at Group level and are a driving force in developing policies and guidelines for Skanska's ethical work and for implementing training, workshops and tools for success in the area.

Your assignment also includes responsibility for

  • Code of conduct and guidelines regarding anti-corruption
  • That matters concerning ethics and compliance are investigated, handled and followed up on
  • To coordinate the Group's work around ethics and compliance in close dialogue with the ethics managers in the business units
  • To identify KPIs and ways of measuring ethical work

You will also be the spokesperson of Skanska's ethical works both internally and externally.

Your background

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a law degree or other relevant academic degree and at least 8 years of experience from a leading role, preferably with experience of driving projects / initiatives forward and of developing and implementing policies and guidelines. You've also previously had a role where you have trained, advised and supported in ethical issues at a high strategic level and you have experience of working with investigations of matters within ethics and compliance. You have very good knowledge of both the Swedish and English language.

Your Personality

You have a very good ability to communicate as well as leading and motivating your employees. You are thorough, structured and independent and have a proactive approach building relationships both internally and externally. Your ability to solve different types of challenges is high, you have high stress resistance and can make informed decisions even in pressured situations. You have high integrity and live as you learn in all situations. You have a very good ability to convey and communicate Skanska's values in a pedagogical and clear way in all types of situations.
