An exciting opportunity has arisen in Gynaecology Services at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to work as administrative support to our Ward Sisters on ward A23 at QMC. The post is full time 37.5 hours per week and will be an essential part of reducing the administrative burden on our team leaders and enabling them to spend more time with staff and patients, delivering excellent patient care.

This person is a vital member of the team. You will work alongside the ward sisters to ensure that the administrative work is of the highest standards and by undertaking this vital role you will be freeing up our clinical staff to do what they do best, to deliver care to our patients and their families.

The main duty of the post will be to efficiently and effectively manage the administrative support to the ward sisters to ensure the smooth running of the department.

You will need to have excellent computer skills and be able to work using their own initiative. You must also have excellent organisational skills, and the ability to juggle conflicting demands on your time. Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner along with the ability to use them effectively to work with staff, patients and carers are essential.

Induction support and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
