Jane Hatton

Jane Hatton, Founder/CEO

Jane founded Evenbreak in 2011. Her main skills include having the gift of the gab, a determination to promote fairness, and finding great people to work for Evenbreak. She also has a degenerative spinal condition which means she mostly works lying down with a laptop suspended above her.

Rachael Salt

Rachael Salt, COO

Rachael is responsible for helping the Evenbreak business to grow as well as making sure that our processes and procedures run smoothly. Her main skills are sales and marketing and she's a big advocate of continuous improvement. Her career started in corporate IT, and more recently the toy and game industry. Prior to that she ran her own business for 10 years. Rachael is deafened as a result of a childhood illness. Read more about Rachael here.

Kiana Kalantar-Hormozi, Candidate Engagement Manager

Kiana engages with existing/potential candidates looking for work and work experience. Her main skills are creativity, organisation and just being very determined. Her background is in film and promoting the human rights of disabled people. Kiana has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. Read more about Kiana here.

Cassandra Leese

Cassandra Leese, Employer Engagement Manager

Cassandra engages with our existing and potential clients. She is all about collaboration and breaking down barriers. She likes to shout about the sound business case for employing disabled talent and has a background in communications and healthcare. Her talents are further enhanced by her neuro-diversity.

Adam Etherington

Adam Etherington, Employer Engagement Manager

Adam manages our relationships with employers by emphasising the inclusive recruitment strategy that all employers should work to. His background is in sales & marketing, understanding the needs of both clients and candidates. Adam has had MS for over 25 years and has a positive attitude to life. Dee Chalmers

Dee Chalmers, Storyteller

Dee loves finding the story behind the person. She believes it is particularly important to find the story behind every disabled person, because we are so much than our disability. Evenbreak is the embodiment of this attitude. Living with MS, Dee enjoys going to live music whenever she can, especially opera and orchestral concerts; the bigger the better! Ruby Donaldson

Ruby Donaldson, Social Media Manager

Ruby is responsible for managing Evenbreak's social media channels and communication. She is passionate about finding new and exciting ways of connecting with candidates and employers but is also very dedicated to educating, inspiring and empowering them. Ruby has ADHD and Dyslexia. Thirath Cane, Admin Assistant

Thirath does all of the important work for Evenbreak, and keeps us all going. Her main skills are admin, computer skills, and demonstrating incredible patience while trying to teach Jane (Hatton) British Sign Language. Thirath is Deaf.

Lewis Sleep, Data Entry Clerk

Lewis works with some of our major clients, inputting their vacancies onto Evenbreak. His talents include accuracy, motivation and a very positive attitude. Lewis has ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Arron Sleep, Data Entry Clerk

Arron is the younger, but taller, brother of Lewis, and also inputs vacancies from large employers onto Evenbreak. He matches the high standards set by his brother! Arron also lives with ME.

Tracey Proudlock, Non-Executive Director

With vast experience in the field of disability access and inclusion, including being a member of Equality 2025, she founded her own business, an award winning disability and inclusive design consultancy, in 2004. A wheelchair user, Tracey is passionate about disabled people having access to the same opportunities as non-disabled people.

Raj Mehta, Non Executive Director

Raj is a commercially-focused experienced procurement and IT business leader, trusted advisor and mentor, with an excellent track record of delivering business results, He brings a unique and diverse perspective as a blind individual with extensive experience and knowledge of the corporate sector.

Francesca Martinez, Patron

Francesca is an award-winning actor, author, activist and "wobbly" comedian. She has acted in various programmes such as Grange Hill and Extras, written a book, lobbied for the rights of disabled people and is an amazingly funny comedian. She is the Patron of Evenbreak, and has Cerebral Palsy.
